(Zombie) Alien Inspired Music Video

Kentaro Mori over at wrote another great Blog post recently under the Fortean section. It's the excellent video recently for the new tune from Metallica and the actual music video is presented as a mixture of old-school Soviet-style propaganda along with several Fortean mainstays, held together by conspiracy theorist's paranoia and finally a liberal sprinkling of the very much ‘en vogue' horror ingredient of late, zombies, which when animated as they are make for a rather disturbing and surreal finished video.

Unfortunately and due to a vigorous campaign by WMG the only place that the video “All Nightmare Long” can be seen is at the official Metallica website.

Metallica combine Soviet propaganda footage and animation involving zombies roaming over U.S. in the new video for 'All Nightmare Long' and the video starts with the Tunguska blast site and suggests that whatever crashed there was carrying alien spores and so the experiments began. Here's a short video clip explaining the ‘real' Tunguska blast site.

The Metallica video was released on the 7th December 2008 and the single released on the 15 th December. Another reason for including it is due to the mention of Chemtrails in the closing scene of the video, mainly as they have been in the News again recently.

The news report featured is actually a real one but the information in has been debunked. I actually uploaded the video at the time but never made it ‘public' once I quickly realised the error in the content.

Here's the Chemtrail News Video.

At just over 50 seconds into the segment, Investigative Reporter Jeff Ferrell says:

"KSLA News 12 had the sample tested at a lab. The results: A high level of barium, 6.8 parts per million, (ppm). That's more than three times the toxic level set by the Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA."

The Problem?

The actual video clearly shows 68.8 ug/L (stands for MICROGRAMS PER LITER), eg 68.8 ppb (STANDS FOR PARTS PER BILLION). A Liter of water is 1000 grams, or 1 kilogram. Just as 1+1=2, so does a millionth of a gram out of one thousand grams correspond to one part per Billion. And so does 68.8 millionths of a gram per liter correspond to 68.8 parts per BILLION.

The reporter was not off by a factor of 1000, but only 100 instead, but only because he read the "68.8" as "6.8". So Ferrell only over-estimated the amount of barium in the test report by a factor of 100 (or, 10,000 PER CENT if you prefer percentages”

Don't forget to visit for his unique views as well as several other Fortean links evident in the video.

It's also an excuse to repost the “Pendulum” track ‘Granite' from 2007 which prominently feature UFO sightings and some convincing (FAKE) footage.
